An additional 100 linear feet of
boardwalk would be installed over previously undisturbed land.
b) Option B creates a total of 1,697 linear feet of accessible trails, leaving the longest trail in
Parker Meadow unimproved. The smaller scale of the project is more cost effective.
The Conservation Commission voted 3-2 in favor of Option B for the Proposed Trail Concept.
Proposed Overlook Options:
a) Option A proposes to construct an overlook structure at the intersection of paths, central
to the conservation area. This proposed location gets a significant amount of sun.
b) Option B proposes to construct an overlook structure in the middle of the path looping
around the pond. This structure is proposed to be built out of the boardwalk thus
preserving the view of the pond and utilizing existing infrastructure.
The Conservation Commission voted 3-2 in favor of Option A for the Proposed Overlook
location.
