The applicant proposes to reconstruct a roadway, portions of which are within the <br /> 100 foot buffer zone. The roadway ranges from 16 to 24 feet in width. There will be an increase <br /> in 5,100 feet of impervious surface area. The areas being converted into impervious areas consist <br /> of compacted, low quality soil. The storm water management system being proposed directs <br /> water away from the protected resource areas. <br /> Concerns of the Commission: <br /> - Did the applicant consider relocating the leaching basins? <br /> Concerns of the Abutters: <br /> - Molly Birdman from Tavern Lane was concerned about expanding the roadway to <br /> improve the roadway visibility. <br /> Response of the Applicant: <br /> - Yes, the applicant considered relocating the leaching basins but found that the area was <br /> inundated with low quality, type "D" soils. <br /> - The applicant is proposing to expand the driving lanes to improve the sightlines. <br /> On a motion by Ms. Dohan and seconded by Mr. Langseth, the Commission voted 5-0 to close <br /> the hearing. <br /> Continued Public Meetings/Hearings <br /> ViewPoint Cloud Permit 4CORD-19-2 <br /> DEP 201-1173 <br /> Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area, 1050 Waltham Street <br />
