<br /> Ɏ <br /> <br />Lexington Housing Partnership Board <br />Meeting Minutes for April 23, 2019 <br /> <br />Attendees: Jeri Foutter, Mary Haskell, Paul Linton, Rich McDonough, Robert Peters, <br />Bob Pressman, Melinda Walker, Betsey Weiss <br />Absent: Harriet Cohen, Melanie Thompson <br />Guest: Leonard Morse-Fortier <br />The Housing Partnership Board (HPB) meeting was chaired by Jeri Foutter and minutes <br />were taken by Melinda Walker. The meeting was called to order at 7:04 pm. <br /> <br />Agenda Items <br />#1: Approve Prior Minutes. <br />February 22, 2019 Meeting Minutes: Ms. Walker moved to approve the minutes; Ms. <br />Weiss seconded the motion. The minutes were approved unanimously. <br />March 20, 2019 Meeting Minutes: after a brisk discussion, it was decided that the board <br />would table approval of the minutes until the May meeting. <br /> <br /> #2: 186 Bedford Street <br />a motion to refer Article 38 back to the Planning Board. Ms. Foutter, Mr. Linton, Mr. <br />Pressman and Ms. Walker described their efforts on behalf of the applicants. Ms. Walker <br />complimented Mr. Linton on the quality of his communication to neighbors in his precinct. <br />Ms. Foutter asked Ms. Walker to forward some examples of his work. <br /> <br />#3: Advocacy Plan. Ms. Walker circulated an informal how the Board might <br />improve its advocacy for affordable housing options coming before Town Meeting. There <br />was a discussion about appropriate timelines for gearing up for Town Meeting, how to <br />organize volunteers, and how to lobby town meeting members. <br /> <br />#4: Baker Housing Bill <br />representatives and senators and urge them to support the bill. Ms. Haskell requested <br />additional clarification of the wording in the legislation. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
