<br /> Ɏ <br /> <br />Lexington Housing Partnership <br />Meeting Minutes for Tuesday, July 11, 2017 <br />Attendees: Jeri Foutter, Mary Haskell, Rich McDonough, Bob Pressman, Melinda Walker, Betsey Weiss <br />Absent: Harriet Cohen, Nancy Corcoran-Ronchetti, Paul Linton, Wendy Manz, Joe Pato <br />Guests: Gerald Paul <br />Melinda Walker chaired the meeting and recorded the meeting minutes. The meeting was called to <br />order at 7:40 pm. <br />1. Approval of Minutes of June 6, 2017. <br />Several corrections were made to the minutes. Mr. Pressman moved approval of the June 6, 2017 <br />minutes and Ms. Foutter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />2. Update: Pine Grove/Judges Way / Walker. <br />Ms. Walker reported that the co-op o <br />Authority and MassHousing representatives <br />a condominium. To date, the details of the conversion are as follows: MassHousing will make a loan <br />hab <br />costs for the common areas. MassHousing will have a 15-year disposition agreement. There will be <br />-occupied units and the remaining <br />five (5) units will be conveyed to the Lexington Housing Authority as low-income rental (voucher) <br />units. <br />3. Goal Setting Response. <br />Mr. Pressman reported that the LHP goal-setting memorandum caused some consternation on the <br />part of the LexHAB board. Ms. Walker expressed her feelings of remorse at having offended LexHAB <br />board members. Ms. Walker felt strongly that she should contact LexHAB members to apologize for <br />any misunderstanding; a lively discussion followed. A member made a motion to authorize Ms. <br />Walker to apologize to LexHAB; another member seconded the motion and the motion passed, <br />three (3) in favor and two (2) against. Following the vote Ms. Haskell reiterated her feelings that an <br />apology was not necessary. <br />4. Report on Meeting with Lex At Home <br />Ms. Walker attended a Lex at Home meeting at the Community Center on June 20. Ms. Walker <br />reported that she described a bit of the history of the partnership to the group and then conducted <br />attendees to get a sense of their interest in developing new senior <br />housing in Lexington. Most of the attendees wished to stay in their homes, although some were <br />expecting to make plans to move into an assisted-living facility. <br /> <br />5. Looking Forward. <br />This agenda item was not discussed due to the late hour of the evening. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
