Lexington Council for the Arts <br />Meeting Notes <br />Wednesday, September 12, 2022 <br />7:00 PM– 8:30 PM <br />Location: Via Zoom. <br />Pre-Meeting Tasks <br />Review of draft minutes from August 31, 2022 meeting <br />Attendance: <br />Present: Lisa herbert, Anwell Tsai, Ashley Rooney, Shalini Kakar, Marie <br />Hewes <br />Absent: David Hoose. Jessie Chen, Doug Urban, <br />Guests: Elizabeth Xu <br />Recording Secretar y: Marie Hewes <br />Meeting start time: <br />•Call to order : 7:00 PM <br />•Secretar y’s report : Approved Unanimously. <br />•Treasurer’s report : <br />- MCC $7,241.00 ( to pay grantees, including ourselves) <br />- LCA : $4,190.00 ( No restriction / No claims right now) <br />- Town : $4,560.00 : Some of Haiku came from that account. ( Spent by <br />6/30/23) <br />Steve has to work on a report about the State account this month. <br />•Grant cycle: status of publicizing grant availability . <br />- We have not received any applications yet. <br />- Ashley will send out another round of infor mation. <br />-Steve and Ashley will work together on the content of the new Newsletter: <br />Summar y of the Haiku project as well as a video.We would also add some <br />infor mation about the following: <br />❖Potential new projects. <br />❖Local events . Infor mation about the Symphony as well as other local <br />organizations. ( Anwell would take care of the Symphony). The <br />Lexington Symphony is interested in collaborating more with the
