Hoyt, with the following <br /> members in attendance : <br /> Lewis L. Hoyt, Chairman <br /> Richard Maynard Harvey F. Tinlock <br /> Fred C. Newhall Ronald D. Brom <br /> Thacher Denney Raymond L. Mite <br /> Torn Accountant <br /> Minutes of the Meeting Held February 7, 1944 <br /> It was regularly moved and voted to dispense with the <br /> reading of the minutes of the regular meeting held February 7, <br /> 1944. <br /> Chairman Lewis L. Hoyt asked for an expression of opin- <br /> ion from the members of the Committee in regards to holding the <br /> present tax rate at 'x;27.00, and in order to do this, at least one- <br /> half of the Bonus must be transferred from the Excess and Deficiency <br /> Account and the remaining half by direct appropriation. The members <br /> desired to hold the tax rate at •;'•27.00. <br /> Chairman Hoyt' then Proceeded to go over the remaining <br /> Articles of the "Tarrant, starting with Article 5. <br /> Articles 5 to 20 inclusive. - Comments on these Articles were the <br /> same as appeared in the Appropriation Committee report of last year. <br /> Article 21. - The comments suggested as follows : <br /> In vier of the fact that the present flag pole is no <br /> longer considered safe, w,re recommend that the sum of ' 3,500.00 be <br /> apnronriated in the event that a flag pole can be obtained, this <br /> sum to be transferred from the Excess and Deficiency Account. <br />
