It was regularly moved and voted to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the regular meeting held June 7, 1943. 4;44 n:i* *'ii* Chairman Lewis L. Hoyt read a letter from the Board of Selectmen where they voted to reduce the automobile allowance of the Sealer of Weights and Measures from $200.00 per year to ; 150.00 per year. Mr. Lamont, the present Sealer of Weights and Measures, was willing to accept this reduction. Motion was made, seconded and voted to approve this re- duction in automobile allowance for the Sealer of Weights and Measures from $200.00 to $150.00 per year. Chairman Lewis L. Hoyt sp&ke about the bill from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to the Accounting Department for supplies from February 5, 1943, to March 25, 1943, amounting to $376.87. The Town Accountant has requested that it be paid from the Reserve Fund instead of being assessed in the State Tax. After a general discussion a motion was made, seconded and voted that a sum not to exceed $400.00 be transferred from the Reserve Fund to the Accounting Department - Expense Account. It was further de- cided that next year a sufficient amount will be included in the Accounting Department budget to take care of supplies purchased from the State.
