Champney died in 1911 at the age of 76 although he is still listed in the 1915 directory. <br /> From 1916 to 1956 this was the home of Edwin B. Worthen,prominent Lexington historian and president of the <br /> Lexington Savings Bank. Worthen was born in Lexington in 1879 and grew up at 25 Maple Street. He married Lora <br /> Heal of Belfast, Maine in 1906 and purchased 5 Winthrop Road in 1916. He remained here until his death in 1956. <br /> BIBLIOGRAPHY: <br /> Hudson, Charles.
