PBC Meeting Minutes <br />14 July 2011 Meeting <br />7.2 OPM Selection <br />5/12/11 <br />DPF provided an update on the OPM & Designer selection Process. It was suggested that the committee divide into two groups with <br />three members involved in selection of the designer and three involved in selection of the OPM. <br />Designer Selection Members OPM Selection Members <br />Carl Oldenburg Jon Himmel <br />Chuck Favazzo Eric Brown <br />Peter Johnson Dick Perry <br />Dates were discussed for OPM proposal and selection process <br />23 June receive proposals -DPF will distribute <br />27 June meet to discuss rankings. 7:30 AM <br />30 June interviews starting at 6PM. <br />11 July meeting with MSBA <br />6/9/11 <br />Schedule (above) reviewed. RFS has been issued and 12 requests have been made to date. <br />7/14/11 <br />Representatives of RF Walsh were introduced as the selected OPM Firm. <br />RF Walsh made a short presentation on project schedule. <br />Sept. is going to be so busy it needs to be planned out very carefully to achieve schedule needs. <br />7.3 Designer Selection <br />6/9/11 <br />Designer Selection has not begun yet. Town gets three votes out of fifteen total in selecting the designer <br />PBC members requested seeing the RFS for Designer Services <br />7/14/11 <br />Discussion on draft of RFS for Designer Services. <br />Three members confirmed for Designer Selection, Chuck Favazzo, Carl Oldenburg, Peter Johnson. <br />RFS available 7/20 will need feedback prior. <br />Comments: <br />LEED should be qualified as "May ". <br />• Comments due to Pat by Friday at noon. <br />*Reviewed important dates. <br />* *RFW to assess schedule if option exercised to interview firms and still meet March MSBA deadline. <br />Agenda for August meeting to include School Board/ Superintendent etc... to review project and upcoming <br />deadlines and needs. <br />*MSBA approved 540 students —Pat to send letter to RF Walsh. <br />Next Meeting: <br />07/21/11 <br />201 Bedford St. <br />Meeting Adjourned 10:00 PM <br />Motion to Adjourn <br />Motion: <br />Page 8 of 8 <br />
