TO: Mr, Alan Fields <br />Chairman <br />Trustees of Public Trusts <br />RE: Jacqueline Toye Hoiriis Scholarship Fund <br />This memo is to set forth the terms on which the Trustees of Public Trusts agree to hold <br />the JACQUELINE TOYS HOMHS SCHOLARSHIP FUND in memory of Jacqueline <br />Toye Hoiriis being established by the Toye and Hoiriis families, <br />1, The Trustee will hold and invest the fund as part of the common trust funds <br />administered by them for the town of Lexington, <br />2, Each year the Trustees shall award through the PTA Council Scholarship <br />Committee (or its successor organization), a scholarship to be known as the <br />JACQUELINE TOYE HOIltIIS SCHOLARSHIP, This scholarship shall be <br />in the amount of at least three- fourths of the net income of the fund, The <br />remaining (25 %) income shall be added, each year, to the principal of the <br />fund, <br />3. The scholarship shall be physically awarded by a member of either the Toye <br />or Hoiriis family as long as they are willing and able. In their absence a <br />member of the P,T,A, Scholarship Committee shall make the presentation, <br />4. To be eligible, a potential recipient must meet the following criteria: <br />(a) Be a woman graduating from either Lexington High School or Minuteman <br />Regional Technical High School, <br />(b) Be a resident of Lexington, Massachusetts. <br />(c) Have been a member of the Haydenette Precision Skating Team, <br />(d) Have been accepted to and plan to attend a college or university, <br />L A <br />•� t <br />�j <br />(e) Have demonstrated aspects of Jacqueline Toye Hoiriis' character, i.e, an <br />outgoing, cheerful, happy person who gets along with everyone, <br />
