<br />MINUTES – LEXINGTON CONSERVATION COMMMISSION April 19, 2011 <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioners present: Joyce Miller, Stew Kennedy, Phil Hamilton, David Langseth <br /> <br />Commissioners absent: Duke Bitsko, Charlie Wyman, Dick Wolk <br /> <br />Others present: Karen Mullins, Conservation Administrator; Louise Vinci, Conservation Clerk <br /> <br />Chair Joyce Miller opened the meeting at 7:40 pm in Room G-15, Town Office Building <br /> <br />7:40 pm Hearing: NOI, Hastings Elementary School, <br /> DEP# 201-817, BL 775, Map 51, Lot 45A <br />Present for the applicant: Thomas Marge, Boy Scout Troop 160 <br />Documentation: Notice of Intent with attachments <br /> <br />Thomas Marge presented a plan to maintain a trail and construct a footbridge <br />across wetlands. <br /> <br />Comments from the Commission follows: David Langseth was concerned about <br />proposed trail re-alignment and felt that trail location should not be altered. Stew <br />Kennedy questioned where materials would be delivered and cut. Mr. Marge <br />responded that materials would be delivered and cut in the school parking lot. <br />Motion made and seconded to close hearing, 4-0 in favor. <br /> <br /> Issue Order of Conditions: Hastings Elementary School, <br /> DEP# 201-817, BL 775, Map 51, Lot 45A <br /> Motion made and seconded to issue Order of Conditions, 4-0 in favor. <br /> <br /> <br />7:50 pm Request to Issue Certificate of Compliance: 10 Hawthorn Road, <br /> DEP# 201-785, BL 745, Map 77, Lot 12 <br />Present for the applicant: Peter Daus-Haberle, Architect <br /> <br />Mr. Daus-Haberle explained that the deck had been built two feet closer to the <br />wetland than approved and more infiltration than proposed was installed. <br /> <br />Comments from the Commission follow: The Commission felt the portion of the <br />deck not in compliance with the Order of Conditions would need to be removed <br />before a Certificate of Compliance could be issued. <br /> <br /> <br />8:00 pm Cont. Hearing: NOI, 58 Sherburne Road South, <br /> DEP# 201-806, BL 763; Map 32, Lot139 <br />Motion made and seconded to continue hearing to May 10, 2011 at the applicants <br />request, 6-0 in favor. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />
