MINUTES – LEXINGTON CONSERVATION COMMMISSION MEETING March 8, 2011 <br /> Michael Juliano, Engineer <br />Documentation: Notice of Intent Application with attachments <br /> Town Engineering Department Review <br /> Public Notice <br /> <br /> <br />Mary Trudeau gave an overview of existing conditions and presented a proposal <br />to raze and rebuild a single family dwelling. Michael Juliano presented roof <br />runoff mitigation into drywell. <br /> <br /> Phil Hamilton read the town engineering report and the public notice into record. <br />Comments from the Commission follow: David Langseth explained to Mr. <br />Juliano that due to Bylaw Regulation section 5(6) the project cannot take credit <br />for existing impervious surface once the surface has been removed. David <br />Langseth questioned the origin of the 15” drainage pipe at the front of the <br />property. Commission members were concerned with direct connection of <br />overflow from perimeter drain to storm sewer system. <br />Motion made and seconded to continue hearing to March 22, 2011 at the <br />applicant’s request, 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />8:30 pm Hearing: NOI, 150 Waltham Street, <br /> DEP# 201-813, BL 771, Map 49, Lot 23 <br />Present for the applicant: Fred Russell, Engineer <br /> Steven Keane, Lexington Housing Authority <br />Documentation: Notice of Intent Application with attachments <br /> Town Engineering Department Review <br /> Public Notice <br /> <br /> Fred Russell described existing drainage conditions and proposed changes. <br /> <br /> Phil Hamilton read the town engineering review and public notice into record. <br />Comments from the Commission follow: David Langseth noted that the plan <br />details did not show elevations. Mr. Langseth was also concerned about the long <br />term maintenance of an open basin in the detention area. The Commission was <br />concerned about the current proposals impact on the trees. The Commission felt <br />the applicant should submit an alternatives analysis, a wetland delineation, and <br />soil test pit. <br />Motion made and seconded to continue hearing to April 5, 2011 at the applicants <br />request, 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br /> <br /> Cont.
