Gole, Jr. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are <br /> authorized to abandon such portions of the sewer easement <br /> in land of Harriet M. Hamilton as are no longer required <br /> by the Town, said easement being a part of the easements <br /> acquired by the Town by eminent domain by Order dated <br /> May 8, 1967, recorded in Middlesex South District Registry <br /> of Deeds, Book 11328, Page 665; that the minimum amount <br /> to be paid for such abandonment shall be 31.00; and that <br /> the instrument of abandonment shall be in such form as <br /> the Selectmen, by the execution thereof, shall approve. <br /> Carried^Unanimously 10:15 P. Cole, Jr. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are <br /> authorized to appoint, under the provisions of Chapter <br /> 147, Section 21A, of--the General Laws, as a police cadet, <br /> for a period of full-time "on the job" training, onecr <br /> more citizens resident in the Town, each of whom is not <br /> less than eighteen or more than twenty-three years of <br /> age, who meets the physical qualifications required <br /> for applicants for appointment to the police force in <br /> the Town, and who is determined by the Selectmen to be <br /> of good moral character, such appointment or appoint. <br /> ments to be on such other terms and conditions as the <br /> Selectmen may determine; and to raise and appropriate <br /> the,, sun of $5800.00 for the compensation of such cadet <br /> or cadets and any_expenses incident to said appointment <br /> or appointments and totheemployment, education and <br /> training of the cadet or cadets so appointed. <br /> 10:17 P.
