Cole, Jr. <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $10,000.00 'be appropriated <br /> under the authority of Chapter 570 of the Acts of 1962,- <br /> to be expended by ,the Selectmen for reimbursing sub- <br /> dividers for part of the cost of constructing ways or <br /> instlling municipal services, as required by the Planning <br /> Board in its approval of definitive subdivision plans <br /> under the Subdivision Control Law, of a greater width or <br /> size than required to serve only the subdivision, the <br /> reimbursement as to any subdivision not to exceed the <br /> amountrecommendedby the Planning Board, and to provide <br /> for ppayment thereof by transfer from the Excess and <br /> Deficiency Account. <br /> 10:06 P. M. <br /> After general discussion, themotionwas declared <br /> carried by voice vote. 10:13, P. M. <br /> Article 37. Presented by Lincoln P. Cole, Jr. , . <br /> MOTION: That the sum of $7,220.00 be raised and <br /> appropriated to be expended under the direction of the <br /> Board of Health for providing cooperative complementary <br /> facilities to the outpatient clinic of the Mystic Valley <br /> Children's Clinic established in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Chapter 123 of the General Laws in coopera-, <br /> tion with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, <br /> and for providing payment for services rendered or to be <br /> rendered by such Clinic. <br /> Carried Unanimously 10:]4 P. M. <br /> Article 38 Presented by Lincoln P. Gole, Jr. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are <br /> authorized to abandon such portions of the sewer easement <br /> in land of Harriet M. Hamilton as are no longer required <br /> by the Town, said easement being a part of the easements <br /> acquired by the Town by eminent domain by Order dated <br /> May 8, 1967, recorded in Middlesex South District Registry <br /> of Deeds, Book 11328, Page 665; that the minimum amount <br /> to be paid for such abandonment shall be 31.00; and that <br /> the instrument of abandonment shall be in such form as <br /> the Selectmen, by the execution thereof, shall approve. <br /> Carried^Unanimously 10:15 P. M. <br /> Article 39. Presented by Lincoln P. Cole, Jr. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are <br /> authorized to appoint, under the provisions of Chapter <br /> 147, Section 21A, of--the General Laws, as a police cadet, <br /> for a period of full-time "on the job" training, onecr <br /> more citizens resident in the Town, each of whom is not <br /> less than eighteen or more than twenty-three years of <br /> age, who meets the physical qualifications required <br /> for applicants for appointment to the police force in <br /> the Town, and who is determined by the Selectmen to be <br /> of good moral character, such appointment or appoint. <br /> ments to be on such other terms and conditions as the <br /> Selectmen may determine; and to raise and appropriate <br /> the,, sun of $5800.00 for the compensation of such cadet <br /> or cadets and any_expenses incident to said appointment <br /> or appointments and totheemployment, education and <br /> training of the cadet or cadets so appointed. <br /> 10:17 P.
