Kenney. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are <br /> authorized to install sewer mains in such accepted or <br /> unaccepted streets or other land as the Selectmen may <br /> determine, subject to the assessment of betterments or <br /> otherwise, in accordance with Chapter 504 of the Acts <br /> of 1897, and all acts in amendment thereof and in <br /> addition thereto, or otherwise, and to take by eminent <br /> domain, purchase or otherwise acquireany fee, easement <br /> or other interest in land necessary therefor; and to <br /> appropriate for such installation and land acquisition <br /> the sum. of $480,000.00 and to provide for payment <br /> thereof by transfer of the unexpended balance of <br /> $1,000.00 of the appropriation under Article 6 of the <br /> Warrant for the November 28 , 1960 Special Town Meeting <br /> and by transfer of the sum of $479,000.00 from the <br /> Excess and Deficiency Account. <br /> 9 :57 P. M. <br /> Herbert W. Eisenberg moved to amend amount appropriated <br /> under Article 20 from $480,000.00 to $456 ,000.00, a <br /> reduction of $24,000.00. <br /> 9:57 P. Eisenberg presented a corrected amendment: <br /> Moved to delete the sum of $480,000.00 and substitute <br /> therefor the sum of $456,000.00 and to delete the sum <br /> of $479,000.00 and substitute the sum of $455,000.00. <br /> 10:05 P. Kenney. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are <br /> authorized to install trunk sewers in such accepted or <br /> unaccepted streets or other land as the Selectmen may <br /> determine, subject to the assessment of betterments or <br /> otherwise, in accordance with Chapter 504 of the Acts <br /> of 1897 , as amended, or otherwise, and to take by eminent <br /> domain, purchase or otherwise acquire any fee, easement <br /> or other interest in land necessary therefor; and to <br /> provide for the payment thereof by the transfer of <br /> $120,000.00 from the Excess and Deficiency Account. <br /> Carried by voice vote. 10:15 P.
