Can we use LexHAB dollars to staff position to work with both <br />LexHAB and Town? <br />BB - Staff does not need to be compartmentalized depending on who the end - <br />owner is. Staff can work for (low income, moderate income) public non- <br />_ profit , can work for private non profit and for profit, <br />JP; To Recap ghat we've done so fear <br />1) Overall leadership role must come from Board of Selectmen, Planning <br />Board, Managment & staff <br />Z) Day to Day management and coordination = Manager, Assistant, Planning <br />Director, Engineers, Comptroller, DPW, Building Commissioner, and some <br />variety of housing specialist /consultant. <br />3) Other Boards should be involved ..� <br />EK - How about the Mass Housing Partnership? We also need to determine what is least number of units we can <br />build on a site and still be economically feasible. <br />PM - Need to get to Town Meeting to get authorization to bid on school <br />sites at '89 meeting or get developers to bid subject to vote at a Special <br />Town Meeting for specific site. <br />Next Steps <br />- produce written consensus to date to get something for people to <br />respond to; <br />Schedule enlarged group meeting to playout thinking thus far and get <br />input <br />-- meeting has to have focus in order to get response. <br />-- research to be done by staff: <br />A) pick site and do preliminary research on <br />1) mix of housing <br />') density <br />3) funding possibilities <br />4) buildable land <br />
