<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the

<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it ti�as voted to approve
<br />Cammitment of Charges, as follows: September Cycle 9 Water Bills,
<br />$67,012.93; August Final Water Bills, $2,241.04; August Final Sewer
<br />Bills, $2,292.88.
<br />BEANS D LICENSE, ELKS
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the
<br />application of B.P.0. Elks, Lodge #2204, 959 Waltham Street for renewal
<br />of License to conduct Beano games, on Thursday of every week, to expire
<br />on September 30, 19890

<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it eras voted to proclaim
<br />September 18, through September 24, 1988, as Emergency Medical Services
<br />Week, as requested by the Office of Emergency Medical Services of the
<br />Mass. D.P.H.
<br />ONE DAY LIQUOR LICENSE , AMFA
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded. it was voted to approve the
<br />application of Paul S. Giragosian on behalf of the Arnienian Mesrobian
<br />Education Association, for One Day Liquor License on Saturday, October
<br />14, 1988, for a Fund. Raising Party to be held at the Mass, National
<br />Guard Armory ■ 459 Bedford Street.
<br />TRAFFIC ITEM, KASELL , NORMANDY ROAD
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to refer the
<br />request of Jacob Kasell, 14 Normandy Road for installation of a
<br />"Caution, Slow, Children" sign at the corner of Hudson and Normandy
<br />Roads, to the Traffic Safety Advisory Canmittee for review and
<br />reccmmendations.
<br />CONTRACT #89 F.ECYCLING
<br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to execute
<br />Contract #89-4, in the amount of $260,637.00, awarded on August 29,
<br />1988, to New England Crinc for Collection, Transport & Marketing of
<br />Recyclable Solid Waste Materials.
<br />CROSS CCNNECTION REGLXATICbTS
<br />William Hadley, Supervisor of Water and Sewer, and Joe Medlin,
<br />Operations Manager, reviewed new drinking water regulations pranulgated
<br />by DEQE, concerning Cross Connection installations.
<br />PMM The program has been designed to eliminate pollutants from entering
<br />the Tawn's water system and involves periodic inspections of the
<br />connections to ensure the separation of potable frarn non -- potable water
<br />supplies. The new regulations apply only to canmercial and industrial
<br />facilities and public institutions, at this time.
