Selectmen's Meeting -5- March 21, 1988 <br />He referred to other notable efforts and contributions to the Town <br />by this group under the leadership of Kerry Brandin and suggested that a <br />letter of congratulations and camnendations by written to the Counsel. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted that the Ch airman <br />send a letter of appreciation to the Lexington Counsel for the Arts. <br />PROPOSED ARTICLE 4 AMMDMENTS,, DOMITZ <br />There was discussion of amendments proposed by Rcbert Dcmnitz under <br />Article 4, to use the Parking Meter Fund to support three public works <br />accounts at the inflation -- adjusted level, and to add to the funding of <br />these line items an amount which Mr. Dcrmu*tz believes would make up for <br />past years when Parking Meter Fund revenues were not used. Mr. Cohen <br />explained what Parking Meter Fund revenues could be used for. He <br />pointed out that the Town could not appropriate funds in excess of those <br />needed for the current year's budget. <br />IVE SESSION <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded. it was voted 5 -- 0 by roll call <br />vote, Mr, Eddison , Mr, Dailey, Mrs, Smith, Mr. McSweeney , to go into <br />Executive Session for discussion of Land Negotiation and Collective <br />Bargai=g, with no intent to resume open session. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at <br />10:54 p.m. <br />A true record, Attest: <br />Marlon H.
