M <br />SELECTMEN'S MEETING JANUARY 1 3 1386 <br />Mr. McCormack, 34 Hayes Lane, agreed. with Dr. Branch regarding the <br />dangerous corner, but felt that paving of the street would increase traffic. <br />He expressed concern as to safety of children. - <br />Mr. Hutchinson noted than he will be recommending $0 for such street <br />projects and felt that of the three streets petitioned for, Hayes would be <br />the least likely to gain approval. He recommended that the voted of <br />intention to lay out on December 30, 1885, be revoked to avoid the ensuing <br />engineering procedures involved in acceptance process. He pointed out that <br />abuttors can work with the Town on undertaking of road improvements which <br />would be funded by the residents of Hayes Lane, <br />Mr. Marshall supported the Manager's recommendations and proposed that <br />the project be deferred. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to revoke the vote on <br />December 30, 1385, of intent to lay out Hayes Lane, 1154' +/- from Vine <br />Street to Grant Street as a FY87 construction street. <br />FY87 BUDGET PROPOSALS <br />Mr. Hutchinson noted submission of the proposed FY87 budget that <br />evening which is to be reviewed starting on January 15th. He will present <br />an overview that evening and Police and Fire Department budget requests will <br />be presented. The Finance Committees and the School Committee will be <br />invited to attend this session. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 5 - J by roll call <br />vote, Mr. McLaughlin, Mrs, Battin, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Eddison, Mr. Dailey, <br />to go into Executive Session for purposes of discussion of collective <br />bargaining, real estate negotiations and litigation. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 10:02 <br />p + m . <br />A true record, Attest:' - r <br />e <br />f' <br />Marion H.
