Huang and Yung Shen at '82 Pleasant Street, <br />CONSERVATION RESTRICTIONS CHIESA 44 ADAMS ST. - <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve and execute <br />a Conservation Restriction over land owned by John D. Chiesa, at 44 Adams <br />Street, containing 19 - square feet. <br />HARTWELL. HOUSE <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the <br />application of The Hartwell House, 94 Hartwell Avenue, for an Entertainment <br />License to allow provision of dinner/dancing music from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 <br />Midnight, Wednesday through Saturday. <br />ACTING CHAIRMAN <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to appoint John F. <br />McLaughlin as Acting Chairman on Monday, January 27, 1988, during the <br />absence of the Chairman. <br />FY 87 BUDGETS - DPW <br />.Halter Tonaszuck, Director, DPW /Engr., Frank Fields, Town Engineer, <br />Paul Mazerall, Supt. Parks /Trees, and Richard Spiers, Manager of Operations, <br />were present for review of budget requests of the Public Works/Engineering <br />Departments. Mr Hutchinson noted that it is the larget of all municipal <br />departments, representing the widest range of services. <br />Mr. Tonaszuck presented an overview of the operations of his <br />departments and showed an organizational chart of employees under his <br />jurisdiction. He outlined responsibilities of Department and Division Heads <br />and staff mifabers and referenced projected programs. <br />The following accounts were reviewed: <br />#4900, DPW Expense Budget, at #22,850, will show a reduction from FY86 <br />by moving costs of computer purchases to the Office Equipment Account. <br />#5150, Engineering Expense Budget, at #18,000 was outlined by Frank <br />Fields, showing a #9 , OOO increase to allow for the purchase of computerized <br />drafting equipment; <br />#5250, Town Office Buildings Maintenance in the amount of #218,540, <br />showing a decrease from FY88. <br />Mr. Marshall requested data on School Building maintenance costs and <br />that thought be given to coordination for possible decrease in expenditures <br />He asked the.Manager to prepare a one page summary on Town Office Building <br />Maintenance costs. <br />#5404, Highway /Traffic Divisions, in the amount of #198,944 <br />Mr. Marshall asked that the amount requested for Gas, Oil and Lube <br />(#5410) be isolated to answer questions to be expected from Town Meeting. <br />
