<br />LDAC <br />EXINGTON ESIGN DVISORY OMMITTEE <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />September 23, 2009 <br /> <br /> <br />To: Board of Appeals <br /> <br />Re: Samuel Hadley Public Services Building, 201Bedford Street, Lexington, MA <br /> Permanent Freestanding Sign Application <br /> <br />At its regular meeting on September 1, 2009, the DAC reviewed the proposed freestanding sign at the <br />Samuel Hadley Public Services Building, 201Bedford Street Lexington, MA. The location, style and <br />size of the sign generally look appropriate for its purpose. The DAC suggested the applicant consider <br />making the concrete base run the full length of the sign and extend slightly on either end. In addition <br />the DAC suggested having raised letters for all the text and placing the Town seal on a raised surface to <br />match the text. <br /> <br />The Design Advisory Committee recommends this project be approved with the following comments. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Timothy D.
