Commuter Bus <br />Stop <br />LexHAB <br />Muzzey Admin. <br />Legal Action <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 7:45 p.m. <br />SELECTMEN MEETING <br />A pril 11 1984 <br />, <br />A meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in the Selectmen's <br />Meeting Room, Town Office Building on Wednesday, April 11, 1984, at <br />7:30 p.m. Chairman Battin, Mr. Sacco, Mr. McLaughlin, Mr. Marshall, <br />Mr. Eddison; Mr. Hutchinson, Town Manager; Mr. Cohen, Town Counsel; <br />Miss Adler, Assistant to the Town Manager and Mrs. Snow, Executive <br />Clerk, were present. <br />Mr. Hutchinson requested authority to return the Commuter Bus <br />Stop to its original location at the Town Pool lot at Worthen Road. <br />He noted that as in the past, parking will be available in the lot, <br />with overflow parking along both sides of Worthen Road, from the <br />lot entrance toward Waltham Street. <br />He pointed out that residents of the Battle Green Apartments will <br />probably again be voicing complaints about the impact of commuter <br />related parking, and that he is exploring alternative areas <br />such as St. Brigid' s lot and the Elks building obi 'Walt'am Street. <br />The Board concurred with the moving of the bus stop and agreed <br />that the Town Manager should continue in his efforts to establish <br />appropriate alternative parking areas for commuter parking <br />Mr. Hutchinson reported that he had completed selection of the <br />first 21 tenants of the Muzzey Condominiums, and requested designation <br />by the Board of LexHAB as the Muzzey Administrator. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to designate the <br />Lexington Housing Assistance Board as Muzzey Administrator, pursuant <br />to the terms of the Land Disposition Agreement, dated October 31, 1983, <br />between the Town of Lexington and Sydney Noyes Anderson, Inc. <br />The Town Manager informed the Board that LexHAB will be seeking <br />direction from the Board on other issues in the near future. <br />Mr. Cohen reported on the favorable outcome of legal action brought <br />against the Town in two instances: The McSweeney vs. the Town Clerk case <br />and the suit of Police Officers for overtime pay while attending the Police <br />Academy. <br />A true record, Attest: <br />Marion H.
