Vic. stead of 12:00 Noon. <br />Lic. Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to grant a change <br />in hours under the Common Victualer License of the Middlesex Racquet and <br />Swim Club for -the service of food and non-alcoholic beverages to commence <br />a t 6:00 a.m, instead of 12:0 Noon as now permitted, <br />Stetson/ The Board discussed the minutes of the tetson, Domings dog hearing <br />Domings Dog of July 7 . <br />Hearin g Mr. Politi stated, as the Dog Hearing Officer, he was supported- the <br />Animal Control Officer, in his determination that the Domings' dog is not <br />a nuisance by reason of a vicious disposition or excessive barking o r other <br />disturbances. He also stated that there was evidence that the clog has been <br />provoked by both parties into barking and jumping the fence. He suggested <br />that the Manager, who is willing to do so, speak to both parties regarding <br />the provolations . <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted that the Board has <br />determined that ti the Domings' 'dog has not been shown to be a nuisance by <br />reason of a vicious disposition or excessive barking or other disturbances. <br />There is substantial testimony from both parties, as well as other persons, <br />that the clog is, on occasion, provoked to barking and jumping the fence by <br />both the Stetsons and Domings. The Manager has expressed the willingness <br />to speak with both parties indicating to then that, while it is a serious <br />matter, the evidence did not support any action against the dog at this <br />time. Both parties should be cognizant of the fact that the Board has <br />listened to the complaint seriously and that there is concern that one or <br />both parties may be using the animal as a vehicle to vent personal ani- <br />oity, r� <br />Both parties are to be notified of this decision and the Manager will <br />meet with them to convey the Board's decision* <br />Minutes Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to approve the min- <br />utes of the Selectmen's meetings of June 7, June 14 , June 16, June 21, <br />June 28 and Executive Session of May 19. <br />Election Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to appoint thirty- <br />Officers seven Democratic and thirty - - seven Republican Election Officers for terms <br />o f office to expire September 1, 1983 The Town Clerk is to be requested <br />to notify each officer. <br />Seger Const.
