( Adjourned Session of the 198 2 A Town Meeting - May 5, 1982.) <br /> Frank Sandy moved that Article 59 be taken up at this time. This motion was <br /> declared adopted by voice vote (doubted,but not by the required twenty members). <br /> 10:20 P.M. <br /> Article 59. REZONE TO CD, MARRETT ROAD <br /> NEAR MINUTEMAN SCHOOL <br /> Presented by Fred Rosenberg. <br /> (Approved MOTION: That the Town vote to amend the Zoning By -Law by changing <br /> by Atty. the district designation from RO - One Family Dwelling District to <br /> General, CD - Controlled Commercial and Industrial District of land on the <br /> Oct. 15, South Side of Marrett Road, adjacent to the entrance to the Minute - <br /> 1982. man Regional Vocational Technical School at the intersection of <br /> Posted in Massachusetts Avenue and Marrett Road, commonly known as the Boston <br /> Town Edison Property and as further described -in. this Article. <br /> Office 10:21 P.M. <br /> Building <br /> & nine At Mr. Rosenberg's request, Mr. Nolan, a resident of Lexington, was <br /> precincts recognized and gave a brief background of the Nolan, Norton & <br /> on Nov. Company. IIe explained that it is a management consulting firm <br /> 3, 1982.) specializing in computers. 10:25 P.M. <br /> Dennis Lowe, Bob Daylor and Lawrence Smith were all recognized in <br /> advance by the Moderator. <br /> Mr. Lowe explained that this location was on the western side of <br /> Massachusetts Avenue. He added that the maximum number of employees <br /> would be 400 and that the Minuteman Regional School School Committee <br /> had voted support of this amendment to the Zoning By -Law. <br /> 10:38 P.M. <br /> Mr. Daylor spoke on the traffic and Lawrence Smith, Project Director <br /> spoke briefly on the rezoning. 10:45 P.M. <br /> Karsten Sorensen filed the Report of the Planning Board on Article <br /> 59 and stated that the Board unanimously supported the article. <br /> 10:47 P.M. <br /> Main motion as presented by Mr. Rosenberg declared adopted <br /> unanimously. 10 :52 P-M. <br /> Alfred S. Busa moved that this meeting be adjourned to Monday, May 10, 1982 <br /> at 8 P.M. in Cary Memorial Hall.
