SELECTMEN'S APPRAISALS <br /> AND OPTIONS <br /> Presented by Stephen Michael Politi. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are authorized to <br /> obtain appraisals and options on land and rights therein that they <br /> desire to recommend be acquired by the Town for municipal purposes; <br /> and to appropriate the sum of $1000 for such appraisals and options, <br /> and to raise such amount $1000 be transferred from the appropriation <br /> voted under Article 14 of the Warrant for the 1974 Annual Town Meeting. <br /> Adopted unanimously. 10:01 P.M. <br /> Article 11. INSTALL WATER MAINS <br /> Presented by Alfred S. Busa. <br /> MOTION: That the Selectmen be and they hereby are authorized to <br /> install new or replacement water mains in such accepted or unaccepted <br /> streets or other land as the Selectmen may determine, subject to <br /> the assessment of betterments or otherwise, and to take by eminent <br /> domain, purchase or otherwise acquire any fee, easement or other <br /> interest in land necessary therefor; to appropriate the sum of <br /> $67,000 for such installation and land acquisition; that such amount <br /> be raised in the tax levy; and, in addition, that the Selectmen be <br /> authorized to apply for, accept, expend and borrow in anticipation of <br /> federal and state aid for such projects. <br /> 10:02 P.M. <br /> According to Mr. Busa, the streets involved are: <br /> Stratham Road - Worthen Road to Woodbury Road <br /> Grant Place <br /> Estabrook Road - Stimson Avenue to end <br /> Hazel Road <br /> Adopted unanimously. 10:04 P.M. <br />
