The applicant is proposing to use a mini-excavator to remove the beaver dam from the area so that the conduit and flex pipe can be installed, and to restore the floodplain and bordering vegetated wetlands. Mr. Finger added that there is currently a screen protecting the culvert allowing the property owner to clean out any material brought by the beavers. The screen is only a temporary measure as it was not working sufficiently. On a motion by Ms. Ladd and seconded by Ms. Samuels, the Commission voted 7-0 by roll call vote to close the hearing.
