The applicant is proposing to use a mini-excavator to remove the beaver dam from <br /> the area so that the conduit and flex pipe can be installed, and to restore the floodplain and <br /> bordering vegetated wetlands. Mr. Finger added that there is currently a screen protecting the <br /> culvert allowing the property owner to clean out any material brought by the beavers. The screen <br /> is only a temporary measure as it was not working sufficiently. <br /> On a motion by Ms. Ladd and seconded by Ms. Samuels, the Commission voted 7-0 by roll call <br /> vote to close the hearing. <br />
