(motion by Chhandomay Mandol) • Question/Comments • The possibility of a full return for some students in April was discussed. ■ Ms. Riendeau shared information about the comprehensive nature of the CIT process. ■ Joyce Dvorak shared information from the previous night's School Committee and her impression that a full return was not likely this year. • This year's curriculum was discussed ■ Curriculum vs. standards. ■ Amy Burk shared information about the math curriculum. • Focus on place value standards • Reduction in geometry and measurement. ■ Student assessment data will be considered as planning for next year takes place over the summer. • RLA Student Survey Data • Ms. Riendeau framed the discussion by explaining the purpose and structure of the data. ■ Information is being gathered from RLA students and Hybrid students for their Blue Week. ■ The information that students share may help us to make immediate improvements and impact our planning process for next year. ■ The data shared today is specific to RLA students and is categorized by question and grade level. ■ Open responses are copied exactly as written by the student to preserve student voice. ■ Future discussions will focus on hybrid student data as well as a comparison between the two groups. • Reflections ■ Overall, the students in RLA seem to be having a positive experience. ■ The answers and opinions are similar to what would be expected during a typical school year. ■ Most students feel that they are able to successfully navigate the schedule, stay organized and complete most assignments. ■ Most students seem to have o positive perception of their school
