• Ms. Riendeau welcomed the group and reviewed the agenda. <br /> • The January meeting minutes were reviewed and approved. (motion by <br /> Chhandomay Mandol) <br /> • Question/Comments <br /> • The possibility of a full return for some students in April was discussed. <br /> ■ Ms. Riendeau shared information about the comprehensive nature of <br /> the CIT process. <br /> ■ Joyce Dvorak shared information from the previous night's School <br /> Committee and her impression that a full return was not likely this <br /> year. <br /> • This year's curriculum was discussed <br /> ■ Curriculum vs. standards. <br /> ■ Amy Burk shared information about the math curriculum. <br /> • Focus on place value standards <br /> • Reduction in geometry and measurement. <br /> ■ Student assessment data will be considered as planning for next year <br /> takes place over the summer. <br /> • RLA Student Survey Data <br /> • Ms. Riendeau framed the discussion by explaining the purpose and <br /> structure of the data. <br /> ■ Information is being gathered from RLA students and Hybrid students <br /> for their Blue Week. <br /> ■ The information that students share may help us to make immediate <br /> improvements and impact our planning process for next year. <br /> ■ The data shared today is specific to RLA students and is categorized <br /> by question and grade level. <br /> ■ Open responses are copied exactly as written by the student to <br /> preserve student voice. <br /> ■ Future discussions will focus on hybrid student data as well as a <br /> comparison between the two groups. <br /> • Reflections <br /> ■ Overall, the students in RLA seem to be having a positive experience. <br /> ■ The answers and opinions are similar to what would be expected <br /> during a typical school year. <br /> ■ Most students feel that they are able to successfully navigate the <br /> schedule, stay organized and complete most assignments. <br /> ■ Most students seem to have o positive perception of their school <br />
