Community Programs Department has on-boarded CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation <br /> Specialist) Kate DeAngelis who is part time now but will go full time in the summer. <br /> Perspective Eagle Scout Jordan came by today to get his fundraising paperwork signed off on <br /> so he can get started on his project. The March Recreation newsletter was sent to 9,600 <br /> people and had a 50% open rate. <br /> Tony Serio provided updates for the Human Services Department. He said that they are in <br /> process of hiring an Outreach Social Worker that will work with residents of all ages. The <br /> first round of interviewing is done. Grace and Tony have organized a drop in teen group <br /> every other Tuesday at Cary Library that began this week and will run through June. They <br /> will talk about controversial topics and provide a snack. They are planning additional <br /> activities as they gain interest. Nancy suggested organizing an opportunity to Skype with <br /> local college students.
