PLANNING BOARD MEETING
<br />November 1, 1976
<br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />by the chairman Mr. MacKenzie with members Brown, Friedman, Clarke, Zabin,
<br />planning director Briggs, and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in atten-
<br />dance was John Crowe, D.A.C.
<br />Minutes of Planning Board meeting of October 4, 1976, were approved MINUTES 10/4
<br />as amended.
<br />Request from Mark Moore, Jr. that surety on Centre Estates subdivision CENTRE EST.
<br />be released and letter from William J. Martin, Asst. Town Engr., dated FINAL BOND REL.
<br />October 25,1976, recommending same were noted. Upon a motion duly made
<br />and seconded, it was VOTED:
<br />That the performance bond in the sum of $2,000, secured by bank
<br />passbook No. 62705 in the amount of $2,000 on deposit in the
<br />Lexington Savings Bank, reduced by vote of the Planning Board
<br />on October 27, 1975, from $50,000 to $18,000, and on February 23,
<br />1976, from $18,000 to $2,000, be released as recommended by
<br />William J. Martin, Assistant Town Engineer.
<br />Draft Certificate of Action on Drummer Boy Green Phase II subdivision CERT. OF ACTION
<br />was reviewed and approved as amended. Upon a motion duly made and DRUMMER BOY
<br />seconded, it was VOTED: PHASE II
<br />To approve the definitive subdivision plan entitled "Drummer Boy
<br />' Green (Phase II) Lexington, Mass., dated September 3, 1976, re-
<br />vised October 4, 1976, by Boston Survey Consultants, Inc., Richard E.
<br />Dobroth, Tr., Drummer Boy Trust, applicant; subject to terms and
<br />conditions imposed by the Lexington Planning Board at the time of
<br />approval.
<br />The planning director was empowered to sign the Certificate on behalf
<br />of the Board following retyping in final form.
<br />The Board reviewed a plan submitted with Application Form A76-24, by FORM A76-24
<br />Thomas C. Grassia, Esq. on behalf of Joseph Martignetti, showing I SPRING ST.
<br />lots 428 and 429 at Spring St. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, GRASSIA
<br />it was VOTED:
<br />The plan entitled "Land Court Case #6962 Land in Lexington, Mass.",
<br />dated October 19, 1976, by Miller and Nylander, submitted with
<br />Application Form A76-24 on October 27, 1976, by Thomas C. Grassia,
<br />Esq., showing land at Spring St., requires no approval under the
<br />Subdivision Control Law.
<br />William Dailey, Esq, was present for discussion of drainage plan for ALEXANDER EST.
<br />Alexander Estates subdivision, preliminary plan of which was approved DRAINAGE PLAN
<br />by the Planning Board on May 10, 1976. Capacity of existing storm drain-
<br />age pipe was noted and need for retention pond was pointed out. It
<br />was suggested to Mr. Dailey that this retention area be placed on a
<br />separate lot to be deeded to the Town to facilitate maintenance.of the
<br />pond.
