Page 2 <br />8.13.73 <br />Hillside Ave. tax -title lots for recreation was recapped by Mr. HILLSIDE AVE <br />Bowyer. Discussion of the matter will be considered at a later date. TAX TITLE LOTS <br />The suggestion that "Cannon Rock" area be acquired by the Town as a his- <br />torical site was considered. Mrs. Frick will call the matter to the <br />attention of the Bicentennial Committee. <br />Notice of a B/A hearing to be held in Burlington at 8:15 on August 16, <br />1973, was read. Variance is being sought from Sec. 10.2 of the B/A BURLINGTON <br />Burlington Zoning By -Law for reduction of buffer strip area between LINE <br />Burlington commercial and Lexington residential zones. 1972 plan pro- <br />posed for the area (supplied by Mr. Weiss) showing commercial development <br />was examined and Lexington Zoning By -Law lack of commercial buffering <br />requirements noted. The Lexington Planning Board will be represented <br />at the hearing by Mrs. Brown and Dr. Clarke who will reiterate Planning <br />Board position re need for adequate open space between the boundary <br />line zones and opposition to granting of the variance. <br />Reference was made to need for revision of Lexington Zoning By -Law to ZONING BY LAW <br />require buffering between Lexington line commercial zones and resi- REVISION <br />dential areas in contiguous municipalities.
