Photogrammetric map #35 was examined regarding land contours whichF&D MAY 8 <br />prohibit construction of the required 113 parking spaces and petition for <br />variance allowing only 61 spaces discussed. Need for additional catch <br />basin was pointed out. Mr. Briggs reported on site review, including <br />data on parking lot use in the CO zoned area. The petitioner is to be <br />informed of Planning Board opinion as to inadequate number of parking <br />spaces and the drainage problem and, if no revised plan is forthcoming, <br />Mr. Briggs will prepare a draft recommending denial of the petition. <br />Revised plans for Columbus St. subidWsion, with changes in road dimen- COLUMBUS ST. <br />sion and 5 foot buffer area at the end of the cul-de-sac, were reviewed. SUBDIVISION <br />Plan showing proposed drainage flow was explained by the planning director. <br />Mr. Briggs reported on conference with Bob Sloan, State Dept. of Trans- BICENTENNIAL <br />portation, re need for independent Bicentennial planning on the part of <br />Lexington and other outlying towns. He informed the Board of Mr. O'Connell's <br />request of Planning Board staff for inventory and classification of Town <br />resources and facilities.
