1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />March 12, 1973 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at <br />7:35 p.m. by the chairman Mrs. Brown with members Clarke, Costello, <br />Graham, planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. <br />Also in attendance were F. Sandy, CLC, A. Frick, Conservation <br />Commission, T. Holzbog, DAC and C. Waixel, Lexington Minute -Man. <br />Mrs. Brown announced that a meeting had been scheduled by the Town <br />Manager with representatives of Town Boards and Committees on <br />March 15, for the purpose of explanation of the scope and intent <br />of Article 54 (Town Mgr. request for appropriation of funds for <br />Community Development Studies). Mrs. Brown and Mr. Costello plan <br />to attend. <br />The minutes of Planning Board meeting of Feb. 26, 1973, were <br />approved as amended. <br />It was decided that the Board will meet on Saturday, March 17,1973, <br />at 1 p.m. in Rm. G-1, Town Offices. The Town Clerk will be notified <br />of this meeting. <br />MINUTES 2/26 <br />The Board reviewed the plan submitted by William J. Dailey, Jr. FORM A73-11 <br />attorney for Gauthier/Palis with Application Form A73-11 showing MILLIKEN RD. <br />land at Milliken Rd. Board of Appeals variance granted on Feb.20, <br />1973, was noted. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was <br />VOTED: <br />The plan submitted on March 6, 1973,.by Wm. J. Dailey, Jr., <br />with Application Form A73-11 entitled "Plan of Land in <br />Lexington, Mass.", dated Nov. 1, 1972, by Miller & Nylander, <br />showing Lot 58A & Lot 58B on Milliken Rd. requires no <br />approval under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />The Plan was so endorsed by members of the Board. <br />A plan submitted on March 7, 1973, by Walter Pierce, Tr., Peacock <br />Farm Trust, with Application Form A73-12 was reviewed by the Board. <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />The plan submitted on March 7,1973, by Walter Pierce, Re., <br />Peacock Farm Trust, entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, <br />Mass.", dated Feb. 16, 1973, by Miller & Nylander requires <br />no approval under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />The plan was so endorsed by members of the Board. <br />Definitive plans for the Columbus St. subdivision, submitted on <br />Feb. 27, 1973, by John Snelling were reviewed. Proposed hammerhead <br />design turnaround was noted and question arose as to the permanence <br />of the road in this form. Mr. Briggs will inform the developer of <br />the Planning Board's request for plan showing proposed contours at <br />the site. It was decided that the public hearing on the subdivision <br />will be held on April 3, 1973, at 8:00 p.m. in Rm..G-1, Town Offices. <br />FORM A73 -12 - <br />PEACOCK FARMS <br />W. PIERCE <br />COLUMBUS ST. <br />SUBDIVISION <br />Election of officers of the Planning Board followed. Mrs. Brown was ELECTION OF <br />nominated as chairman, Dr. Clarke as Vice Chairman and Mr. Graham as PL, BD. OFFIC- <br />Clerk. Since there were no other nominations for the abovementioned ERS <br />offices, Mrs. Brown declared all nominees to be elected. <br />
