PLANNNING BOARD MEETING <br />February 19, 1973 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:34 p.m. <br />by the chairman Mrs. Brown with members Costello, Clarke, Graham, S.Brown, <br />planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in attend- <br />ance were F. Sandy, CLC, M. Gilson, LWV, M. Rawls, Conservation Commission, <br />and C. Waixel, Lexington Minute -Man. <br />Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Grammont, prospective buyers of land,on Jean, Aaron and AARON,JEAN & <br />Morgan roads, were present by appointment for discussion of a preliminary MORGAN RDS. <br />Form A plan concept. A sketch was displayed showing division of the parcel GRAMMONT <br />into four lots and the status of Aaron Road (unpaved access) was discussed. <br />The secretary was instructed to research the 1968 minutes at which time the <br />Jean/Aaron road status had been considered, for information on Planning Board <br />determination on the matter at that time. Town Counsel will be consulted as <br />to whether existence of a house with address #1 Aaron Road affects status <br />of other land on Aaron Road. Mr. Briggs will report on results of his in- <br />vestigation at the Feb. 16 meeting. <br />The minutes of Planning Board meeting of Feb. 5, 1973, were reviewed and MINUTES 2/5 <br />approved as amended. <br />Final endorsement of Hartwell Park subdivision plans was considered. Two HARTWELL PARK <br />members present signed the plans and it was agreed that signature of a SUBDIVISION <br />third Planning Board member will be added following addition to the plans <br />of the endorsement wording being prepared by Town Counsel to constitute <br />legal Planning Board endorsement. <br />The Board reviewed a plan submitted by John P. Dailey on Feb. 16, 1973, FORM A73-8 <br />with Application Form A73-8. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it MARRETT RD. <br />was VOTED: <br />The plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated Feb.15, FORM A73-8 <br />1973, by Miller & Nylander, submitted by John P. Dailey, showing <br />13.1+ acres at Marrett Road, requires no approval under the Subdivision <br />Control Law. <br />The plan was so endorsed by members of the Board. <br />Draft by Mrs. Brown of a letter to the Board of Appeals with Planning B/A HEARING <br />Board comments on the petition of Gauthier/Palis (hearing 2/20/73) was MILLIKEN RD. <br />read by the members. Following review, the draft was approved as amended. <br />Copy of a petition to the selectmen asking reconsideration of a previous FAIRFIELD DR. <br />request by Fesideritd of the Fairfield Drive neighborhood for "Town and <br />Country" street light installation was read. Planning Board letter to <br />the Board of Selectmen, dated December 6, 1972, with respect to the pre- <br />vious petition and written recommendation of the DAC at that time were <br />reviewed. Question of the degree of Planning Board responsibility re- <br />garding street light design was discussed. The planning director was <br />Instructed to draft a letter to the Selectmen based on the Dec. 6 letter <br />and suggestions made during the discussion to be transmitted to the <br />' Selectmen following its review by the chairman. <br />The Board reviewed the Mark Moore/Spaulding & Slye presentation at the DRUMMER BOY <br />public hearing on RM rezoning proposal on the Drummer Boy land on Feb. 15, <br />1973. Need for review and possible adjustment of Planning Board policy <br />with respect to provision by developers of low -moderate income housing <br />
