PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />February 12, 1973 <br />' The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at <br />7:35 p.m. by the chairman Mrs. Brown with members Costello, Clarke, <br />S. Brown, Graham, planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow <br />present. Also in attendance were F. Sandy, CLC, M. Weinmayr, DAC, <br />R. Cochin, LWV and A. Frick,Conservation Commission member. <br />The minutes of the Planning Board meeting of January 29, 1973, <br />were approved as written. <br />The Board reviewed plans submitted with Application Forms A73-5 and <br />A73-6 by Ralph D. Cataldo, showing land at Bow Street. Upon a motion <br />duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />The plan submitted on Jan. 31, 1973 with Appl. A73-5 by <br />Ralph D. Cataldo, entitled "A Compiled Plan of Land in <br />Lexington, Mass.", dated Jan. 31, 1973, by Miller & <br />Nylander, showing Lot C on Bow Street and the plan sub- <br />mitted on Jan. 31, 1973, with Appl. Form A73-6 by Ralph <br />D. Cataldo, entitled "A Compiled Plan of Land in <br />Lexington, Mass.", dated Jan. 30, 1973, by Miller & <br />Nylander, showing Lot B on Bow St. requires no approval <br />under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />The plans were so endorsed by members of the Board. <br />A plan submitted by John J. McSweeney for the Town of Lexington on <br />February 5, 1973, showing land at Mass. Ave. and Clarke St. was re- <br />viewed by the Board. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was <br />VOTED• <br />The plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated <br />Jan. 29, 1973, by Barnes Engr. Co., Inc., submitted by <br />John J. McSweeney on Feb. 5, 1973, with Appl. Form A73-7, <br />showing land at Mass. Ave. and Clarke St. requires no <br />approval under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />The plan was so endorsed by members of the Board. <br />A letter from the Board of Selectmen, dated Feb. 6, 1973, notifying <br />the Planning Board of its vote of intent to lay out eight streets, <br />as listed was noted. Mr. McSweeney, Town Engr., joined the meeting <br />at this time and displayed plans of three betterment streets in- <br />cluded in the list and explained the proposed land taking and inland <br />at Fern St. and Pleasant st. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, <br />it was VOTED: <br />The Planning Board approves the layouts at Fern, Grassland <br />and Holland streets as presented and recommends In favor of <br />acceptance of all streets as listed by the Board of <br />Selectmen in the letter of Feb. 6, 1973. <br />Notice of these recommendations will be transmitted to the Board of <br />Selectmen within 45 days. <br />' Revised draft of Planning Board statement to the Board of Selectmen <br />on the Rte. 2 Environmental Impact Statement by Mr. Graham was read <br />by the members and approval of the statement was voted.
