-2 - <br />members. Upon a motion duly made and seconded it was VOTED: - <br />To deny the request of the developer through his attorney for <br />the release of security held by the Town to ensure the construc- <br />tion of ways and installation of utilities in the Birch Hill Estates <br />subdivision. The reason for the denial is that the required <br />sluiceway between lots 10 and 11 has not been completed to the <br />satisfaction of the Town. <br />Mr. Zaleski reported that he had contacted Mr. Paul Nelson, Oneida <br />Corp. regarding Drummer Boy subdivision. Mr. Nelson will request an <br />extension of time until Jan. 3, 1972, before which the Planning Board <br />must act on approval of this anbdivision, excluding Oneida Rd. <br />Mr. Zaleski recommended that the Planning Board authorize the Town <br />Counsel to prepare the necessary papers for this approval. Upon a <br />motion duly made and seconded it was VOTED: <br />To request the Town Counsel to prepare the necessary instruments <br />for the approval of the Drummer Boy subdivision, excluding Oneida Rd. <br />and lots 47 through 62 fronting thereon. <br />DRUMMER BOY <br />TIME EXTENSION <br />& APPROVAL <br />Following a discussion of the value to the Planning Board of member- URBAN LAND INST <br />ship in the Urban Land Institute including the availability of land MEMBERSHIP <br />development and planning studies which would be of interest and <br />assistance, and upon a motion duly made and seconded it was VOTED: <br />To authorize the application for membership of Alexander V. Zaleski <br />Planning Director, in the Urban Land Institute for one year. <br />Budget proposals for 1972 were reviewed by the Board. Question of the BUDGET 1972 <br />need for additional funds for the services of a consultant on a <br />specific program was considered and the possibility of requesting funds <br />under "personal services" for the hiring of a full-time technician will <br />be discussed in 3 weeks. Upon a motion duly made and seconded it was <br />VOTED: <br />To approve the estimate of the Planning Director for the Planning <br />Board expense budget for 1972. <br />A letter from William Hamilton regarding a high rise apartment structure <br />off Concord Ave. was read and a map of the area examined by the members.HAMILTON <br />Mr. Hamilton is to be invited to discuss this proposal at a meeting of HI -RISE CONCORD <br />the Planning Board on Nov. 15, 1971. AVE. <br />A copy of a letter from Donald Irwin, Bldg. Inspector, to Wilbur CENTRAL BLOCK <br />Jaquith, Chairman of the Historic Districts Commission, regarding BLDG. PERMIT <br />the application for building permit for the Central Block was read and <br />noted. <br />Notices of Board of Appeals hearings on Sept. 30 and Oct. 7, 1971, were <br />noted. <br />Board of Appeals permits for variance for: <br />Francis & Marion Napoli Jeanne Fleming <br />Thomas R.& Effie B. Russell Anthony R. Cataldo <br />Chandler Leasing Division Pezrow Enterprizes, Inc. <br />were discussed briefly by the members. <br />
