1 <br />1 <br />[1 <br />2.1.71 minutes (continued) <br />-3 <br />Mrs. Brown reported that according to Mr. Page and Ann Wallace, two REGIONAL <br />of the Lexington members of the committee, the Regional Vocational VOCATIONAL <br />School District Planning Board are not interested in discussing TECHNICAL <br />sites at this time. Sites will be discussed if the Town votes to SCHOOL <br />join the Vocational School District. <br />Mr. Charles Gallagher, Chairman of the Recreation Committee, met RECREATION <br />with the Planning Board to discuss the Recreation's intent to lay COMMITTEE <br />out a comprehensive pian for walking and bicycle paths. The paths WALKING <br />would be planned across town -owned land, therefore requiring no AND <br />land takings, and utilize recreation and conservation areas and school BICYCLE <br />lands. The map, now at the library, prepared by the Radcliffe summer PATHS <br />seminar will be used. It includes small lots not owned by the town. <br />Mr. Notkin offered the DAC's help. The Board requested the Planning <br />Director to write a letter to the DAC suggesting that their aid and <br />ideas in the planning and preparation of this project would be appre- <br />ciated. Mr. Gallagher said that the Recreation Committee meets every <br />third Thursday. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:12 p.m. <br />Eric T. Clarke <br />Clerk <br />
