11-24-58 <br />At the request of the Board, Mr. Stevens <br />SIDEWALKS came to the meetin4 to discuss Mr. Gayer's letter <br />of November 19i 1958 to the Board in regard to sug- <br />gestions for filing separate performance bonds for <br />sidewalk construction in subdivisions approved by <br />the Board. (See addendum.) After an exploratory <br />discussion of the problems involved, it was decided <br />to give the matter further consideration with the <br />idea of incorporating in the revision of the Sub- <br />division Rules and Regulations procedures for <br />handling bonds for sidewalks. <br />Considered next were the notices of peti- <br />BOARD OF tions to be heard by the Board of Appeals on <br />APPEALS December 3, 1958. It was decided to go on record <br />as being opposed to the granting of the Associates <br />Realty Trust petition. Mr. Snow was asked to pre- <br />pare from the Board's dictated notes a letter <br />setting forth the Planning Board's reasons for said <br />opposition. (See addendum.) <br />There was then held a general discussion of <br />matters currently before the Board. Thereupon, the <br />meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />Richard H. Johnson <br />3 Franklin Road <br />Lexington 73, Mass. <br />Dear Mr. Johnson: <br />The Board has given careful consideration to your <br />proposal to rezone the lot numbered 25 Bedford Street <br />from an R 1, single family residence district to a C 2, <br />general business district. At its meeting on November 24, <br />1958 it was decided that the Board had not changed its <br />views on the matter as set forth in the Board's report <br />on the amendment to the Zoning by-law proposed by <br />Article 6 of the Warrant for the Special Town Meeting on <br />September 15, 1958.
