It is recommended, here- fore, that no action be taken on the acceptance of Craw- ford Road and Linmoor Terrace until the Town Counsel ob- tains for Lexington the grant of utilities in said subdivi- sion from the Moore Realty Trust and the grants of easements from the Hofheimers and Savenors. In regard to the suggestion that Linmoor Terrace and Crawford Road be combined into one street, it is the Plan- ning Board's opinion that this should not be done. It would appear that Linmoor Road would be a better name than Lin - moor Terrace and that Ballard Terrace and Crawford Road be combined into Ballard Road. If thec enterline of Ballard Terrace were projected, it would overlay the centerline of Crawford Road. It is only 77 feet between said ways as measured along the centerline projection. With reference to the last suggestion in your letter, the Planning Board will assume the responsibility of noti- fying the Selectmen when subdivision streets are ready for acceptance by the Town. The Board believes the possible use of the Reiss land for a town dump is a matter worth looking into fur- ' ther. It is the opinion of the Planning Board, however, that the present dump should be filled in first.
