2-17-58 <br />said board relative to a petition for a ehange <br />of zone from Residential A-2 District to Busi- <br />ness A District of an area of land in Waltham <br />located southeasterly of Lexington Street and <br />bounded in part by the Lexington -Waltham line. <br />It was decided to take no action in regard to <br />said petition. <br />The Chairman reported that Mr. Moore <br />had discussed with him the Board's January 301 <br />1958 letter in regard to filling land 150 feet <br />beyond lot 10 on Adams Street. (See minutes of <br />January 271 1958.) Mr. Grindle stated that Mr. <br />Moore had agreed to include said land in the <br />area the Board was recommending that the Town <br />acquire for recreational purposes. The Board <br />decided to proceed with the obtaining of an <br />option to purchase from Mr. Kendrick a parcel <br />of land for extending a parkway and Emerson <br />Road along Vine Brook, it appearing that there <br />was an agreement between the Board and Mr. Moore <br />on the acquisition of Moore land for recreation, <br />the construction of the bridge across Vine Brook, <br />and the construction of Pherson Road from the <br />Moore land to East Street. Mr. Snow was asked <br />' to prepare a plan showing the amount of land it <br />was proposed that the Town acquire from Mr. <br />Kendrick. Mr. Grindle was requested to notify <br />Mr.' Moore of the Board's decision. <br />At 8:30 p.m. Mr. Stevens came to the <br />meeting and reviewed with the Board the action <br />it had taken earlier during the meeting in re- <br />gard to Form A applications for determination of <br />Planning Board jurisdiction. <br />Mr. Jaquith came to the meeting at 8:40 <br />P.M* <br />At that time, together with'Mr. Stevens, <br />the Board met with Mr. Walter Black to discuss <br />the development of the subdivision shown on a <br />plan approved by the Board of Survey on May 4, <br />19372 said plan showing Minola and Slocum Roads <br />between Highland Road and Bloomfield Street, and <br />being entitled "Plan of Subdivision of Land <br />Owned by Walter Black Lexington, Mass.", dated <br />April 27, 1937, J. Bruce Lewis, C.F. Mr. Black <br />stated that this plan had not been recorded in <br />the Registry of Deeds until after the Town had <br />voted in 1946 to change the minimum residential <br />lot size to that requiring 100 feet of frontage <br />and an area of 12,500 sq. ft.
