PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />June 17, 1957 <br />A regular meeting of the Planning Board was held <br />in the Town Engineer's Room, Town Office Building on <br />Monday, June 17, 1957 at 7:35 p.m. Present were Chair- <br />man Grindle, Members Abbott, Burnell, Jaquith and Soule, <br />and Planning Director Snow. <br />The Board approved the Minutes of May 27, June 3 MINUTES <br />and 6, 1957. <br />Mr. Soule came to the meeting at 7:45 P.m. <br />Approved also by the Board were the following BILLS <br />bills which had been presented for payment: Philip H. <br />and Lawrence W. Burt, stenographic services, June 6, <br />1957 public hearing --$175.00- Minute -man Publications, <br />Inc., advertising hearings --49.$0; Bruce E. Howlett, <br />Drofessional services ending period June 14, 1957-- <br />$78-40. <br />Taken under consideration were the following FORMS A <br />Form A applications for determination of Planning <br />' Board jurisdiction: <br />#57-57, submitted on June 10, 1957 by Phyllis <br />A. Ackerman; plan entitled "Plan of Land in <br />Lexington -Mass.", scale 1" m 40', dated May <br />23, 1957, Miller & Nylander, C.E.'s and Sur- <br />veyors, Lexington, Mass. <br />#57-58, submitted on June 17, 1957 by Mark <br />Moore, Jr. for Moore Realty Trust; plan en- <br />titled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", <br />scale: 1" = 401, dated June 6, 1957, Miller <br />and Nylander, C.E.'s & Surveyors, Lexington, <br />Mass. <br />It was moved, seconded and unanimously <br />VOTED: that the plans accompanying applica- <br />tions #57-57 and #57-58 be signed bear- <br />ing the endorsement "Approval under the <br />subdivision control law not required." <br />It was recommended that in the recently approved <br />Loring Hill Estates Section One subdivision the name <br />of the way be "Baskin Road," the name being in honor <br />of the late William John Baskin, the original sub- <br />divider of the property and one of the town's leading <br />citizens. The Board approved this name subject to <br />LORING HILL <br />ESTATES <br />SEC. 1 <br />
