. <br />The Board also received from Mr. Frank W. Hodgdon <br />an application for a determination of Planning Board <br />jurisdiction. The Board considered the application and ' <br />decided that it could not be accepted as having been <br />submitted for the reason that the plan accompanying said <br />application did not have a proper title, date, etc. and <br />was not drawn on tracing cloth. The Board drafted a <br />letter informing Mr. Hodgdon of its decision, stating rRAN'K <br />that it was returning his plan to him and notifying him HODGDON, <br />further that based on the information shown on the plan <br />the Board would have to determine that approval is re- <br />quired under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />The following bills were presented for payment: <br />Anne H. Milliken, secretarial services, January 28, 1957 <br />meeting --$5.00; Louise M. Baker, typin and secretarial BILLS <br />services, period ending Feb. 1, 1957- -26.55; American <br />Society of Planning Officials --$10.00; Minute -man Pub- <br />lications, advertising hearing --$1.35; Graphic Repro- <br />ductions, white prints --$3.00; Samuel P. Snow, reimburse- <br />ment for office expenses and car allowance --$2$.10. <br />It was moved, seconded and voted that the bills be <br />paid as presented, Mr. Adams not voting. <br />At $:10 p.m. Messrs. Robert Hunter, Robert Jackson <br />and Myron Fisher, members of the Elementary School <br />ELEMENTARY <br />Facilities Committee, met with the Board concerning <br />' <br />SCHOOL <br />information the committee needed in regard to the <br />FACILITIES <br />locations and size of residential subdivisions now <br />CIU24ITTEE <br />being or in the near future expected to b e developed. <br />It was pointed out that in addition to the scattered <br />individual residences being constructed throughout the <br />town, for the most part subdivisions were being <br />planned or developed in the northern and eastern sec- <br />tions of Lexington. Information was also given the <br />ccsnmittee members that 305 single family residential . <br />permits had been issued by the Building Department in <br />1956, this figure not including permits renewed or <br />cancelled. The members left the meeting at 9:00 p.m. <br />Considered also were the Board of Appeals notices <br />for hearings to be held on Feb. 19, 1957. It was BOARD OF <br />decided to take no action on these petitions with the APPEALS <br />exception of the petition of the Associates Realty <br />Trust for permission to erect a large sign as an <br />accessory use of business on the land zoned for apart- <br />ment and hotel use. Mr. Snow was asked to draft for ASSOCIATES <br />the Planning Board's consideration, a letter similar REALTY <br />to the one dated Jan. 22, 1957 and sent to the Board TRUST <br />of Appeals regarding the Trustts former petition. <br />Mr. Hathaway arrived at 9:45 p•m• at which time ' <br />Mr. Jaquith discussed with the Board his meeting with <br />
