endorsement "Lexington Planning Board ' <br />approval not required under subdivision <br />control law." <br />In regard to application #57-10, it was decided <br />that Mr. Long should withdraw his application and <br />obtain a variance,from the Board of Appeals for in. <br />sufficient side yard. <br />Application #57-11 was deemed not to be submitted <br />for the reason that there was insufficient information <br />accompanying the application. <br />PROPOSED Read to the Board was the Division of Planning <br />ENABLING notices in regard to public hearings to be held by the <br />LEGISLATURE committee on mercantile affairs on bills of interest to <br />planning boards. Mr. Snow was authorized to obtain <br />copies of said bills, to attend the public hearings on <br />said bills and to prepare a memorandum stating the <br />Planning Board's decision in regard to the proposed <br />legislation) said letter to be addressed to Mr. Maloney <br />as a member of said committee. <br />STREET Read to the Board was the Selectmen's February 17 <br />ACCEPTANCES letter in regard to street acceptances. The Board ' <br />decided that the entire length of Allen Street should <br />be accepted in view of the plans seen at the public <br />hearing for the proposed widening and realignment of <br />Route 2. It was,understood that there were not. <br />available at the time plans for streets to be accepted <br />under the Bettement Act. Before taking action upon <br />the proposed acceptance of these streets, the Board <br />decided that it should first see the plans for said <br />streets. <br />ASSOCIATES Read to the 'Board was Deputy Chief Belcastro's <br />REALTY January 28, 1957 letter addressed to Mr. Snow, said <br />TRUST PLANS letter stating that the Fire Prevention Bureau could <br />not approve the hotel plans as drawn as it was found <br />that the plans from a public safety standpoint are <br />inadequate and are not in detail.
