In its ' <br />letter the Board recommended that after this basic <br />work was done a set of assessors maps be prepared <br />and requested a joint meeting with the Assessors and <br />the Selectmen:on January 7 , 1957 to acquaint the Boards <br />with the various aspects of the problem and to view <br />the preliminary town map and various other exhibits. <br />SEABURY - 'Considered next was a letter dated January 21 <br />HOTEL 1957, addressed to John F..Groden, Mrs. Seaburq's <br />attorney, and prepared by Mr. Snow at the Board's <br />request, setting forth the Board's eecisions of the <br />previous 'week in regard,t the hotel and site plans <br />submitted by Mrs..Seabury. The letter was discussed <br />in detail, approved by the Board, signed by the <br />Chairman, and contained the following statements: <br />"In comparing the new hotel plans with those <br />previously submitted and noting that they were <br />substantially different, the Board votedunan` - <br />imously that another public hearing was in <br />order for the reasons that (1) the building has <br />been relocated on the site, (2) there is no <br />restaurant shown on the recently submitted. <br />plan, (3) substantial changes had been made in <br />the interior of the building and (4) both the ' <br />materials used and the facades proposed alter <br />the exterior design of, the hotel. <br />Either -before or at the public hearing the Board <br />would like to see sketches and/or perspectives <br />showing th e'contemplated exterior of the building <br />as viewed from the direction of the Route 128 <br />Massachusetts Avenue and Route 128-Marrett Road <br />intersections, the point of view from which said <br />perspectives are taken to be located on the site <br />plan. <br />With special reference to the site plan, the Board <br />would like to have shown on said plan the bound- <br />aries of the present A 1 district and the bound- <br />aries of the parcel of land on which the hotel is <br />to be built. <br />In regard to the driveway permits from the De- <br />partment of Public Works, the Board presumes that <br />you will have these renewed. A representative of <br />the Board noted that work started under permit <br />#4-3229, dated August 3, 1955, has not been com- <br />pleted and that the permit expired September 3, ' <br />1955; also, that no work has started under permit <br />0-13451 issuedSeptember23, 1955 and extended <br />to uary , <br />
