Present: Adams, Ripley, <br />Meeting opened at <br />Dianne Estates Inc. <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Monday, July 12, 1954 <br />Irwin, Hathaway, Grindle, Jaquith - Stevens, Burns, <br />7:45 o'clock. <br />Mr. Friel submitted definitive plan for Ledgelawn Ave., section with <br />application on form C. Application taken subject to check with Mr. Burns and <br />later accepted. Hearing set for July 26th at 8 p.m. <br />Peacock Farms ,Inc. - Hearing <br />Public hearing at 8 o'clock on Section 3 covering 15 lots shown on <br />plan dated June 24, 1954, Present: Mr. Compton for the Peacock Farms and 4 <br />others from the neighborhood, Messrs. Cooper, Mason St.;, Gautraud, Carville <br />Ave.; Miller, Peacock Farms Rd.; and Gryboski, Peacock Farm Rd.• Mr. Comp- <br />ton explained the general plan of the applicant for development of the area <br />and the drainage problems including the change to be made in depth of the <br />brook. Mr. Cooper raised a question in regard to the drainage problems <br />caused by the brook, which was answered by Mr. Compton. Mr. Gautraud raised <br />a question as to the rights of the public in connection with the application <br />which was answered by Mr. Adams. None of the neighbors wished•to be re- <br />corded either in favor of or against the approval of the application. A <br />bond was filed on behalf of the corporation. <br />Leeland Construction Company <br />Definitive plan dated July 7, 1954 filed, together with application <br />on Form. C for development of the extension of Diana Lane. Application ac- <br />cepted. Hearing set for July 26th at 8:15 p.m. <br />Colonial Development Corp. <br />Definitive plan dated February 251 19511 presented, together with <br />application on Form C for further development of Colonial Acres. Applica- <br />tion taken subject to further check and later accepted. Present:-Gennaro <br />Capaldi, president; Fred A.Joyce, Designer; and Dr.J. Salusti. Hearing set <br />for July 26th at 8:30 p.m. <br />Kelley <br />Plan dated July 26, 1954 filed by Prince Arthur Newell, together <br />with application on form A signed by Mrs. Agnes T. Kelley. The plan showed <br />lot 30 having a frontage of only 78.201 on the east.side of Maple St. Mr. <br />Newell stated that this lot was not to,be used as a house lot except by add- <br />ing additional land to obtain the required frontage under the current zoning <br />law. It was voted to endorse the plan "Lexington Planning Board Approval <br />under Subdivision Control Law not required" but to add a note to the plan to <br />the effect that lot 30 does not contain the frontage required under the Lex- <br />ington zoning law. <br />' Laconia Street <br />Mr. Stevens stated that he had received an inquiry as to whether the <br />
