PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Monday, June 28,1954 <br />Present: Adams, Grindle, Hathaway, Irwin, Jaquith, Ripley <br />Meeting opened at 7:50 o'clock. <br />Bill <br />Bill presented by Louise M. Baker, secretarial service June 1, 7, <br />14, 21 and 28 0 $5; 1 box oni.onskin,42.25; extra secretarial service, <br />letters re: applications, $2.75; total $30.00. Unanimously voted the bill <br />bd paid. <br />Letter read from Mr. Alfred Edwards, Committee on Legislation re: <br />decision recently made in favor of petitioner who claimed private roads <br />could be built upon as frontage streets and urging that the Manning Board <br />get together some data showing this would be detrimental to the town of <br />Lexington if done here. Turned over to Mr. Jaquith for study. <br />Tocci-Belotti <br />Plan showing lots 53-54 on Bowman St.ani Concord Turnpike sub- <br />mitted with Form A by Edward C. Tocci and Viola J. Belotti. Moved by <br />Mr. Irwin, seconded by Mr. Grindle and unanimously - <br />VOTED: that the above plan be signed with endorsement "Planning <br />Board approval not required under subdivision control law." <br />Peacock Farts <br />Mr. Dick Kasal presented Form C and D for definitive approval of <br />Section 3, Peacock Farms, Trotting Horse Drive. All requirements having <br />been fulfilled, on motion of Mr. Grindle, seconded by Mr. Irwin t date for <br />hearing was set for Monday, July 12, Town Engineer's office at is o'clock. <br />Carrig <br />Mr, Jams Carrig and Mr. Robert Carrig present for informal discus- <br />sion re: by-pass road. Mr. Adams explained the Boardts idea of having a <br />parkway and some open area around the road, especially on the approach. Mr. <br />Carrig is agreeable to selling part of it but does not wish to sell entire, <br />piece. Would like a layout of'the road for his engineer so that he might <br />work something out. <br />McConchie <br />0n motion of Mr. Irwin, seconded by Mr. Grindle and so voted, the <br />' <br />preliminary plan showing proposed subdivision of land on Robinson Hill dated <br />June 28, 1954, owned by Leeland Construction Co. was tentatively approved. <br />
