1
1
1
-3-
There has been nothing about mosquitoes from the state this year.
Dr. Grady had said he would be sending out a letter in February. It has not
come as yet.
The Board said they could always request Dr. Grady to send a letter in
regard to the mosquito population, etc. to present to town meeting this year.
Mr. Smith told the Board that the new increases in prices of licenses and
permits were legally printed in the Lexington newspaper and that the swimming
pools and retail establishments were now $50.00.
45
MOSQUITOES
Mr. Smith said there have been calls regarding toxic waste at Hartwell Place
and the Air Base. The Air Base is investigating as it is either on the base or
on Massport property. There will be more of an impact on Bedford and their water.
They do not have any idea what it is at this time.
The Board wants to meet primarily to discuss the rDNA proposed regulations
and the public hearing. It seems that Ann White's proposal has brought out people
trying to get on this Lexington Biohazard Committee that has been proposed.
THE FOLLOWING PERMITS WERE SIGNED BY THE BOARD:
Installers Permits
L.
