1 <br />1 <br />Lisa told the Board that she owns six horses and she is going to have them <br />there. She said she will fight to get them there and she won't stop until <br />she get them. <br />Mr. Lambie said that the Board has had an on-going problem with the manure <br />storage, Also. <br />Dr. Erdos said we are dealing with the problem of having six horses and <br />not having enough land to keep them on according to the Board of Health <br />Regulations. He said it states: 2 acres for one horse, 4 acres for 3 horses, <br />etc., according to the amount of land. Asking for more horses effects neigh- <br />bors, horses, stabling rooms, etc., he said. <br />Mrs. Lovett said they use the Johnson's land. He has 5 acres. <br />Dr. Erdos said, "I know you utilize that land, but the question is as far <br />as regulations go - if you can really borrow land". <br />Someone asked, "What about the stables?". <br />Mr. Smith said, "There are only three stalls adequate to stable horses". <br />Dr. Roemer asked if it was a practice to allow the borrowing of land? <br />Mr. Smith said that they had allowed it once before, but that person has since <br />moved away. <br />Dr. Erdos pointed out if the abutters objected then, the Fitzgerald's could <br />not use borrowed land. <br />Lisa said that the abutters do not object. <br />Dr. Roemer said we cannot assume the <br />don't get complaints. <br />Mr. Smith asked if the Board granted <br />do we have you don't bring in 8 or 9 <br />abutters do not object just because we <br />a permit for six horses, what guarantee <br />after that? <br />Mr. Lambie said it really disturbs him that the Board granted a temporary <br />permit for 90 days for four horses only, and that they had six horses there <br />the whole summer. <br />Mr. Lambie said the Board will have to discuss it more before any decision is <br />made. He said the regulations have been violated. The Fitzgerald's just <br />don't take the Board seriously. <br />Mr. Lambie said a phone call to the Department would have made a difference. <br />We would have known you were trying to abide by the Regulations. He told <br />the Fitzgerald's they should have met with Barry Littleton. <br />Mrs. Fitzgerald Lovett said that she did, but Barry gave them the run-around. <br />He kept telling them something different all the time. <br />Mr. Lambie said the Board will have to discuss this further. <br />s <br />
