14) <br />CLINIC <br />AD <br />The Minute Man Ad announcing the clinic scheduled for June <br />15. 1972 was checked. Dr. Ellicott suggested that a sentence be <br />added to all future ads regarding clinics stating: "We recommend <br />you consult your private physician concerning your immunization <br />needs". <br />The Board approved. <br />TB The letter from Dr. Derek Robinson, Tuberculosis Control <br />TESTING Director, regarding the testing for tuberculosis contacts with man- <br />toux testing instead of th Tine testing. <br />Dr. Ellicott explained that he checked with Dr. Barber and Dr. <br />Noble at Middlesex Sanatorium when the department had to go into the <br />Amicon Corportation to test for tuberculosis, and they all agreed <br />that the Tine testing was the thing to do. Dr. Robinson, did not <br />agree, therefore. this letter. <br />Dr. Ellicott reminded Mr. Heustis that all employees at the <br />Amicon Corporation must bP re -chocked after the 4th of July. He <br />also suggested that we contact Miss Morrison of the L.V.N.A. and <br />get a. report on the first testing so that follow-up may be started <br />on any that need it. <br />The Lion's Club Carnival facilities were discussed. Mr. <br />LIONS Heustis said he and Mr. Mazerall had checked the sanitary facilities <br />CLUB and thy will be micha.nical.ly okay by carnival time. He will place <br />CARNIVALhanl washing signs in prominent places fcr th, food handlers. Mr. O'Connell has stated <br />that tho Lion's Club must also provide a night watchman this year be- <br />cause of the vandalism, <br />The. application to keep 2 horses at 37 Grove Street by Emily <br />Lovering was discussed. Mrs. Lovering has had permission from Ernest <br />Johnson. 45 Grove. Street, to use 4-6 acres of land to make up the <br />acreage required by our regulations. <br />ANIMAL After some discussion it was agreed that no action would be <br />PERMIT talon until all the abuttors were contacted and all the information <br />was in. <br />The renewal application for Ellen Sharkey, 13 Hazel Road, <br />requesting an increase from 2 to 4 ponies was discussed by the Board. <br />It was agreed that the amount of area Mrs. Sharkey now has will <br />be re -checked before any decision is made. <br />Mr. Heustis said that the School Health Personnel would be <br />HEAD meeting on Wednesday and he wondered if the Board had any ideas about <br />LICE the furniture in the schools or if they would like him to recommend <br />any corrective action to combat the increase of pediculosis in the <br />schools. <br />Oftsti <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
