Superintendent’s Announcements <br /> <br />Introduction of the New Director of Community Education – Craig Hall <br /> <br /> <br />V. Members’ Reports / Members’ Concerns <br /> <br />Tom Diaz: The Supreme Court decided in our favor in the Parker/Wirthlin case. John Davis <br />from our law firm was a great advocate for the school system. <br /> <br />Rod Cole: Briefly reported on issues that were brought up at the MASC meeting. <br /> <br />Helen Cohen: Also reported on her experience at the conference. <br /> <br /> <br />VI. Discussion Items <br /> <br />1. Report of the Committee that visited the Montgomery County, MD, Schools. <br />Dr. Lynne Sarasin introduced all the team members. Four of them spoke about their <br />experiences in Montgomery County: Laura Lasa, Lexington High School Associate <br />Principal; Eddie Davey, history teacher at Clarke Middle School; Jesse Richardson, 5th grade <br />teacher at Estabrook, and Gail Grimes, Mathematics Instructional Specialist. <br /> <br />There were questions and comments from the Committee and the audience. <br /> <br /> <br />
