Hadley <br />J/3 <br />SUBJECT: <br />Public Hearing for Grant of Location <br />Install and maintain approximately 328 feet of 2” gas main in Peacock Farm Road from <br />the existing 2” main at house #84 Baker Ave. to houses #51, #48 and #46 Peacock <br />Farm Rd. for new gas services. <br />EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: <br />The Department of Public Works/Engineering has reviewed the petition, plan and order <br />of National Grid for a Grant of Location to install approximately 328 feet of 2” gas main <br />in Peacock Farm Road from the existing 2” main at #84 Baker Ave. easterly to houses <br />#51, #48 and #46 for new gas services. A Street Opening Permit is required prior to <br />excavation. Since this petition appears to be in order, we recommend that approval be <br />granted. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION / SUGGESTED MOTION: <br />Motion to approve the petition for Nationalgrid to install and maintain approximately 328 <br />feet of 2” gas main in Peacock Farm Rd. <br />STAFF FOLLOW-UP: <br />Engineering Division <br /> <br />
