Callahan reviewed 5 bicycles crashes that occurred over <br /> the past 30 days. <br /> Other Business. Peggy said she has been in communication with Michelle Ciccolo <br /> and Richard Fries about the possibility of Lexington hosting a League of American <br /> Bicyclists LCI seminar, following on MassBike's sponsorship of a Traffic Skills 101 <br /> weekend. She is also in touch with the Town about covering the cost of one member's <br /> attendance at such a seminar. <br /> Laurel reported on the 2017 Moving Together conference, the annual state-wide <br /> conference on bicycling, pedestrians, and transit. Lexington attendees included Laurel, <br /> Dave Cannon, David Kucharsky, and Matt Weisman. <br /> Sgt Callahan mentioned that the new ProPhoenix software system for the Police <br /> Department will soon go on-line. The Committee is being asked to provide a list of what <br /> it thinks should be included in improvements to bicycle crash/incident reporting. Laurel <br /> mentioned the supplemental information collected by Waltham police; Sgt Callahan will <br /> be in touch with that department. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:28 pm. <br /> Record of the Discussions of the Friends of Lexington Bikeways <br /> The Treasurer's Report was given. <br /> Farmer's Market Bike Corrals for 2017: The Bike Corrals were very popular this <br /> season; 135 coupons were given out over the five sessions. <br /> Planning for Snow Plowing: 2017-2018. The suggestion was made to provide a <br /> general indicator (like a thermometer?) to display if additional funds were needed for <br /> snowplowing.
